Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. Maggie Grace is most well-known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of school after her parents separated to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. In 2001, despite her difficulties with money she managed to land her first major part in the web-based video series Rachel's Room as the main character. Her performance in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford's character in Lost from 2004 to 2005 was nominated for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to focus on a more significant role in film, appearing alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. In addition, she appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series in the final two episodes playing Shannon. In 2013, she appeared in the sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith who is both an avid stargazer as well as a socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. A member of the Gyllenhaal clan, she is the daughter of film makers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs as well as the elder cousin of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
