Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director who is best known for being the protagonist of Birdman. Michael Keaton is an actor with a wide range of abilities. The actor began his interest in acting and performing when at the age of teen and attempted stand-up comedy while a young man. This was not a very successful stand-up career, however it helped pave the way to an acting career. He was unable to succeed as a comedian he took on a position as a cameraman for a TV cable station. He came to realize that his primary desire was to be in front of the camera when he worked for an cable company. After that, he managed to secure the role on TV and also appeared in several episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and became very popular on television. He began his film career that was full of ambitions and became famous for his comedic roles. His fame was further elevated by his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. As an actor, he grew in the years to come and then ventured into the production and direction worlds. He has received numerous awards as well as nominations for his performances in the film Birdman.
